Mythbuntu
Mythbuntu is a specialized Linux distribution based on Ubuntu and MythTV (currently 0.20.2) Following the same principles of KnoppMyth and Mythdora, Mythbuntu is designed to simplify the installation of MythTV on a home theatre PC. Mythbuntu can be used to install a stand alone frontend, backend, or combination of the two. Mythbuntu aims to keeps close ties with Ubuntu thus allowing changes to be moved upstream for the greater benefit of the Ubuntu Community. Due to the close link with Ubuntu easy conversions between a desktop to a standalone Mythbuntu installation is possible. This has involved packaging, testing, documentation and supporting new users via IRC and forums and has been great fun to take part in.
Point of Regard (PoR)
Point of Regard is an attempt to create an open source (GPL2) head and eye tracking software making use of the Polhemus FASTRAK and ISCAN eyetracker hardware. This currently still makes use of firmware loaded from a MicroSoft Window's machine and the provided software for eye image calculations.

The project provides

  1. Driver for USB Polhemus FASTRAK which tracks the position (X, Y, Z) and orientation (azimuth, elevation, roll) of a small receiver as it moves through space.
  2. Driver for reading from the serial port the angle of the eye from an ISCAN eyetracker.
  3. Program to calculate the point of interception on the defined screens. This allows you to display the point a user is looking at with single screens, multiple screens, CAVE environments and multiple screens separated around the environment

The website for the project can be found here

Holy War
I'm currently administrating and bug fixing a free, bannerless multi-player empire building strategy web based game called Holy War

Ubuntu
  1. I help support Ubuntu by helping out with support tickets and bug reports where ever possible.
  2. I also produce maintain packages for OpenSG. Information on using these can be founded in my blog post at here.
